To create an Abegpay account as a new user, follow these steps: ~ Download the App Visit the Google Play Store (for Android users) or the Apple App Store (for iOS users) and download the Abegpay app. ~ Sign Up Open the app and tap on the "Sign Up" button. ~ Fill in Your Details You will be directed to a registration form. Enter the following information: 1. Full Name 2. Email Address 3.Phone Number 4. Country and State of Origin 5. Residential Address 6. Referral Code (if available) 7. Review Terms and Privacy Policy Carefully read through the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Once reviewed, check the box to agree. ~ Complete Registration Tap on the "Proceed" button. Once submitted, your Abegpay account will be successfully created.
If you’ve forgotten your password or need to reset it, follow these steps: ~ Navigate to the Login Page On the login screen, look for the "Password" field. Below it, you’ll see an option to reset your password. ~ Initiate the Reset Process Tap on the reset password link. A pop-up menu will appear — click "Proceed" to continue. ~ Enter Your Registered Email Address You’ll be redirected to a page where you need to input the email address associated with your Abegpay account. ~ Verify Your Email After entering your email, click on "Verify". An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your email within seconds. ~ Enter the OTP Check your inbox for the OTP, enter it in the designated field, and click "Proceed". ~ Set a New Password A new page will appear prompting you to: 1. Enter your new password 2. Confirm the new password Once done, click "Proceed". Password Reset Successful Your password has now been successfully reset. You can log in using your new credentials.
Identity verification is required when upgrading your account from Tier 1 to Tier 2, or from Tier 2 to Tier 3. Follow the steps below to complete the process: ~ Open the Abegpay App Launch the app and go to the Settings menu. ~ Select the Upgrade Option Tap on the "Upgrade Tier" icon to begin the verification process. ~ Start the Upgrade Process On the next screen, tap "Upgrade" to continue. ~ Enter Your Personal Details You’ll be prompted to provide the following information: 1. Full Name 2. NIN (National Identification Number) or BVN (Bank Verification Number) — choose either one 3. Date of Birth 4. Submit and Proceed After filling in all required fields, tap "Proceed". Your identity will be verified, and your account will be successfully upgraded to the next tier.
